Note: Records can only be added through Point Of Sale. Access the Vehicle Record by clicking on:
Account Number: This field is not alterable
Last Name: This field is not alterable
First Name: This field is not alterable
License: this is the license plate number. Alpha or numeric characters are allowed. This information is editable if necessary and this field is not required.
License Exp: this field is the expiration date for the license. This information is editable.
State: Select the 2-character state abbreviation. This information is editable.
Unit Number: Enter the Unit Number for the vehicle.
Color: Enter the Color of the vehicle.
VIN: Enter the VIN number for the vehicle.
Production Date: this is a field that contains the production date of the vehicle if it is different than the actual year of the vehicle. This information is not required.
Last Mileage: This field will be automatically updated to reflect the vehicle’s mileage changes from the POS screen or can be manually changed in this screen.
Last Updated: This field will display the date each time the Last Mileage field is changed. This field is not alterable.
Estimated Mileage: The system will calculate this value based on the Last Mileage, the Last Updated date, and the Average Miles per Month.
If the system does t have enough information to calculate this value, the Estimated Mileage value will be the same as the Last Mileage.
Avg Miles / Month: This field is not alterable. The system will calculate this value based on the Last Mileage and Last Updated date.The system finds the oldest transaction (and date) that includes mileage and compares it to the newest transaction (and date) that includes mileage. The system continues to recalculate the estimated mileage each time a new transaction is finalized. If there are not enough transactions in the file to calculate this, the value will default to 1000.
