Report Library
Overview
Reports are generated in the system through the Report Library The user accesses the report library through:

Please Note: the items listed in the Report Library initial screen are those items that have been created and saved. Any time a user creates a report (of any type) and presses Save, the item will be listed alphabetically by category in the Report Library screen. If a user deletes an item from that screen either intentionally or accidentally, the report can be easily recreated and re-saved.
The reports are classified in the following categories:
The Standard Reports contains multiple commonly used reports with the ability to save additional reports from a set of pre-defined standard reports. Please review the listing after all updates - there are reports added as new versions are released.
The External Reports are external crystal reports that are created by the user.
The Custom Reports was designed and implemented to make the system more versatile for the user. Through this function, the user can design custom reports that will meet their own specific needs. These reports can then be stored in the users "print library" for future use.
Inventory Ranking is actually a report and program in one - it is designed to stuff ranking fields with letters (A - H) and report upon the results.
NEW: click new to create a new report (of any of the 4 types described above).
EDIT: click edit to edit any report displaying under "description" in the report library.
DELETE: click delete to delete any report displayed under "description" in the report library.
RUN: click run to run any report. The report will "run" to the default printer assigned within the report (for example, if the assigned printer is actually an e-mail, the e-mail will be sent. If the printer assigned is any paper printer, a report will print to that assigned printer.)
PREVIEW: click preview to display any report to the screen. Please note, if the reports are extremely large (for example, Inventory Value reports by detailed item, or Transaction Listings for an entire year) it may take a few moments for the report to display on the screen.
