Custom Report Generator
The Custom Report Generator allows users to pull information from files in the system to report upon. Custom reports such as account address listings, account price matrixes and special pricing lists, and inventory lists that can filter information such as sales (or no sales), etc. can be created to assist with running the business.
Click NEW to create a new report.
REPORT SETTINGS
Click Next to continue.
FILE SELECTION
The list of any table that can be reported upon displays on the page. Select the appropriate file (which contains the desired information) and click Next to continue.
The list is as follows:
Accounts Nu-Way Update Return Reasons
Category Codes Package Flags Service Charge Codes
Cost Matrix Supplier Paid In Reasons Ship Via Codes
Customers Paid Out Reasons Special Pricing By Account
Employees Parts Genie Update Special Pricing By Group
Inventory Price Adjust Reasons Suppliers
Inventory Update Files Price Matrix By Account Tax Rates
Manufacturers Price Matrix By Group Terms Codes
Non Stock Pricing Qty Adjust Reasons Zip Codes
FIELD SELECTION
Fields from dat[table selected from previous step]: The fields in the left box are all fields from the selected table that can be reported upon. Users will select each field that they'd like to see on the report (from the left) and move it to the right by clicking >> or double-clicking on the field.
Click Next to continue.
RECORD SELECTION
Click Change to filter the information that displays on the report. Users can use any field within the selected file as a filter.

Click Next to continue.
REPORT OPTIONS
Sort Report By: To sort a report, select a field in 1st Level, 2nd Level, and/or 3rd Level. Also choose whether the information to be sorted should sort in Ascending or Descending order.
Report Options:
Click Next to continue.
FINISH SELECTION
The user should start by looking at the Current Number Of Records. If the number is inappropriately large or small, the settings may be incorrect. Users can click Back to return to the settings screen and make adjustments.
