Overview

The Record Stuffer is a powerful utility that is used to import data into existing fields within Counter Control. Users can stuff dates, dollar values, numeric values, descriptions, etc., into almost every field (with the exception of calculated fields) in every table.

The processes that can be accomplished using the record stuffer are:

· Stuff with a value: the information added will be the actual information entered into the field. For example: stuff with the value “December” will populate the appropriate field with the word “December”.

· Stuff with a field: the information added will overlay the current information in a field with the information from another field. For example, stuff with the field COST will overlay the appropriate field with the current information that is populated in the COST field.

· Stuff with a formula: the information entered will add or subtract calculations from the value in a field. For example: stuff with a formula “Cost plus 50%” will calculate the current Cost plus 50% and put the result in the selected field.
