Hit List Entries

A "Hit" is a stamp that is added to a transaction, adjustment of an account or inventory item, purchase order, etc., that prepares it to be sent to another program outside of Counter Control.  Hits are made to transactions that are going to Quickbooks, eOffice, or store-to-collector system setups.

The Hit List Entries page will collect transactions throughout a business day, and when appropriate (most likely by a scheduled job) the information will be sent to the external program.  Items that are set to go display in BLACK.  Items that are denied from being exported for a certain reason will display in RED.

Show Hit List Entries: The information displayed when Show Hit List Entries is selected will display transactions, changes to accounts, changes to inventory, purchase orders, etc., that are to be sent from a store to a collector, or from a collector back to a store.  The Hit List program is used when systems are not "online" but communicate with each other at specific times throughout the day.

Show Quickbooks Integration Hit List Entries:  The information displayed when Show Quickbooks Integration is selected will display transactions, payments, purchase orders, etc., that are being sent to Quickbooks.  The export is usually completed once at night, and a file from the information exported is created in a file that QB will access the next day.

Show eOffice Hit List Entries:  The information displayed when Show eOffice Hit List Entries is selected will display all information being transmitted to eOffice.  That information is typically sent multiple times per day (perhaps every 1 or 5 minutes).

Delete:  Highlight an item and click Delete to remove items from the Hit List Entries.

Delete All:  Click Delete All to delete all records waiting in Hit List Entries.
