The Mfgs Web Info button enables the user to automatically access a web site for an item on the transaction ticket item in POS. The web site is defined in the More Info URL field on the inventory record.
Select an item on the transaction ticket that has a web site defined on the inventory record and click on the Mfgs Web Info button. The system will directly access the Internet and display the defined web site.
Note: Since a detail line must be selected prior to accessing a web site, it is recommended to place the Mfgs Web Info button on the Detail area of the POS screen. See POS Button Setup to create a customized set of transaction information buttons.
