Price Override

 

Overview

 

The application enables a price adjustment to be made for an individual item or for the entire ticket.

Steps: Price Override for entire ticket

 

  1. Click on Transaction Information box at the top of the Point of Sale screen.

  2. Click on Price Override button on the Transaction Information screen to apply an adjustment to the entire ticket.

  3. Click on the Percent Discount button or Dollar Discount button to adjust the ticket by.

    1. Enter the Percent value and select a Reason for the discount.

    2. Enter the Dollar value and select a Reason for the discount.

    3. Example price adjustment reasons: competitive price match, employee discount, etc.

  4. The discount is applied to the entire ticket and reflected as a credit adjustment item at the bottom of the ticket.

 

 

Steps: Price Override for individual item

 

 

  1. Click on Price field of the item to be adjusted on the Point of Sale screen.

  2. Click on the Price Override button, Percent Discount button or Dollar Discount button to adjust the ticket by.

    1. Enter the Price value and select a Reason for the discount.

    2. Enter the Percent value and select a Reason for the discount.

    3. Enter the Dollar value and select a Reason for the discount.

    4. Example price adjustment reasons: competitive price match, employee discount, etc.

  3. The discount is reflected in the price field of each item on the Point of Sale screen.
