To configure customer letters, click on:
TOOLS | SYSTEM CONFIGURATION | CUSTOMER LETTERS CONFIGURATION
General Config tab
Print Logo on Letters: Check this parameter to include a logo on the letter.
Logo to Print: Select the logo to print from the drop down list of values.
Note: If the parameter Print Logo on Letters is not selected, the Logo to Print parameter will not be enabled.
New: to create a new letter template
Edit: to edit a previously created template
Delete: to remove a previously created template
Template Name
Enter a name for the letter you are composing. This name will later be selected when determining the printing parameters for the set of customers the letter will be sent to. (Ex: Thank You, Recommended Services, etc.)
Letter Salutation
Enter a salutation to prefix the customers name (Ex: Dear, Hi, etc.)
Letter Header
The header of the letter can consist of multiple paragraphs and will precede maintenance history / recommended services items, if included. (Maintenance history and recommended services information can be selected to include in the printing parameters.)
Letter Body
The body of the letter can consist of multiple paragraphs and will follow maintenance history / recommended services items, if included. (Maintenance history and recommended services information can be selected to include in the printing parameters.)
Letter Closing
Enter a closing with proper punctuation, if applicable, to precede the service managers name. (Ex: Sincerely,)
