Overview: Clerks Name on POS screen and Printed Ticket
In the Point Of Sale screen, a new ticket will automatically display the name of the clerk currently logged into the system; this name will appear in both the Orig field and Current field. Once a ticket is saved, the name of the clerk that created the ticket will be stored in the Orig field in the Transaction Information box. The Current field in the Transaction Information box will store the name of the clerk currently logged into the system. Although the clerks name in the Current field will change each time a new users logs in and accesses an existing ticket, the Orig field name will not change as it contains the clerks name that originally created the ticket.
The Orig field and Current field in the POS screen will appear respectively as Original Clerk and Last Clerk on the printed ticket. If the same name is contained in the Orig and Current field in the POS screen, the system will only include it once under the heading Clerk on the printed ticket.
