Add an Item to a ticket

 

Overview

 

Items can be added to a transaction ticket at the Point Of Sale by keying in the item number at the top of the Detail area of the screen or via the Add Part To Ticket button. Items can also be added to the transaction ticket by retrieving them from the inventory file. Parts can be retrieved based on a Description, Manufacturer Number, SKU, UPC, or Cross Reference Number. Additionally, the user can also retrieve Labor items, Jobs / Packages, or Miscellaneous Parts.

 

 

 

 

 

Steps: Add an Item to a ticket by keying in the item number

 

  1. At the Point of Sale screen, type in the item number at the top of the Detail area of the screen and then press Enter.

  2. The item will now appear on your ticket.

 

Steps: Add an Item to a ticket using the Add Part To Ticket button

 

  1. At the Point of Sale screen, click on the area of the screen that displays the detail lines

  2. At the Detail Information screen, click on the Add Part To Ticket button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Enter the item number and click OK. The item will now appear on your ticket.

 

 

 

 

Steps: Retrieve an Item from the Inventory file

 

 

  1. At the Point of Sale screen, click on the area of the screen that displays the detail lines.

  2. At the Detail Information screen, click on the Retrieve button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Click on the button that corresponds to the type of item being retrieved:

    1. Parts button.

      1. Click on one of the following buttons to search by:

        1. By Description button

        2. Manufacturer Number button

        3. By SKU button

        4. By UPC button

        5. Quick Reference button

    2. Labor button

    3. Jobs/Packages button

    4. Misc. button

  4. In the space provided, enter the required information for an item in your inventory and click OK.

  5. At the Retrieve Part screen, click on the item you wish to add to your ticket and click OK. The item will now appear on your ticket.
