Log in to the application by entering the User ID password ‘ADMIN’ in the User ID field. (Note: The ‘ADMIN’ User ID password will only by used until the initial setup is complete.)

Once the Security and Hot Menu Setup is complete, a (up to) 5-character User ID password will be assigned to each employee. (If the User Id is less than 5 characters, you will have to press the enter key to acknowledge that the complete User ID has been entered.) This assigned User ID password will be used throughout the system to control the security privileges and to display the appropriate Hot Menus for each user.

The Date field will display the current date, but can be adjusted by clicking on the Date field. The following box will appear:

The system will default to using the ‘Use current date’ option. The ‘Pre/Post date’ option allows the user to change the default date to an applicable prior or future date. The date can be changed to a prior date in order to re-enter a ticket from a previous day. The date can be changed to a future date in order to enter a deferred transaction ticket.

Click on the date box and a drop down arrow will appear. Clicking on the drop down arrow will then display a calendar. The user can move forward or backwards by months by clicking on the month bar arrows and can select a date by clicking on the actual date in the calendar.

The user must log out at the end of the day and re-login the next day in order for the system to record the correct date on all transactions. If the user does not log out, the following days transactions would be recorded with the previous day’s date.

The application version number is displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Hovering the cursor over the version number will display the extended version number. For example, Version 2.11 is displayed on the screen and the extended version is 2.11.11. This extended version number may be needed in correspondence with the application development team.
