Inventory Alternate Items
Overview
Inventory Alternate Items is a table for excess alternate item information. Most inventory records allow for 1-2 alternate items. If a part(s) have multiple alternates, enter the information in the Inventory Alternate Items screen.
General tab
MFG: enter the original MFG Code.
PartNum: enter the original part number.
Alt Number: enter the entire alternate part number.
Please Note: the alternate number must be entered completely for the alternate number to be available in Point Of Sale. Once the item is added, if a user would like to sell the alternate number, CTRL-X will let users toggle through the alternate numbers associated with the initial part requested.
